This is the perfect house in the perfect location! Spacious, clean, homely, and fully appointed. All the room you could ask for, a huge roof deck with a pool, a back patio with a pingpong table, and a large well stocked kitchen. It's 3 blocks from the beach, 5 blocks from the town square, with many shops and restaurants even closer. Kathrine was super communicative, and Roberto was extremely helpful and always available. A beautiful house in a truly beautiful place, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a wonderful house in a great location. The house is comfortable and peaceful. The rooftop has everything you need to relax. There is a convenience store right across the street where you can buy juice, soda, beer or alcohol. A lovely bakery is less than a block away. It's a short walk to the main square's shops and restaurants, but if you want to stick close to home, there are delicious restaurants a block away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect for a group of 6 and is in a great location. The beach, restaurants and shopping are all short walks. There is a fantastic breakfast place about 100 feet away and a little shop with snacks and drinks right across the street. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The dining table is large enough for everyone to dine together or play games, and the rooftop terrace is wonderful with covered seating, a bar and a small pool.

I have stayed in rental houses all over Mexico and in many other places in the world, and I can say that this one was easily one of the nicest. Not only is the house itself incredibly spacious, comfortable, well located, safe and beautiful - but the owner Katherine and the local property manager Roberto bent over backwards to make certain we had a wonderful stay. In a day and age where these kind of personal connections and level of care are hard to come by, it was especially welcome to feel that we had landed in our home away from home in Puerto Morelos and were welcomed as friends. Our whole family loved it. You have everything you need in easy walking distance, the beach, shops, restaurants and more. . . we loved being right in town in the mix of all the life and color of Puerto Morelos, while still being just far enough away from the central square to have peaceful quiet nights even during the high season. For us it was the best of all worlds. In the casa's kitchen you will want for nothing - we cooked several delightful meals and had all the pots, pans and utensils we could need. The best spot of all in the house was the expansive roof deck - with the ocean breezes coming in from one direction and overlooking the lush green mangroves in the other direction. When I close my eyes I will dream of being in the hammock on the roof. If you are looking for a magical blend of an authentic Mexican experience where you can be swept away in the beauty and bustle of a local fishing village but where you also have many global influences and can get a great latte, a Parisian baguette down the road or a fine dining meal to rival any major city's offerings, then Puerto Morelos is the place for you, and at Casa Perros Afortunados you really will feel like the Luckiest Dog! Beautiful, 3 bedroom, 3bath home with outdoor pool in Puerto Morelos. Perfect to share with family and or friends. The home is walking distance to the grocery store , and local restaurants. Katherine, the owner, and Roberto, the property manager are wonderful to work with; each are very attentive, and prompt with their responses. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to stay, once again, in Puerto Morelos. The people there are friendly and very accommodating. If you have never been to Puerto Morelos, you must go.

This is a wonderful house in a great location. The house is comfortable and peaceful. The rooftop has everything you need to relax. There is a convenience store right across the street where you can buy juice, soda, beer or alcohol. A lovely bakery is less than a block away. It's a short walk to the main square's shops and restaurants, but if you want to stick close to home, there are delicious restaurants a block away. And just north of the house there is a lady who cooks the best takeaway chicken. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Felt straight at home coming into this house. It was perfect. Spread over floors so you weren’t on top of each other with the gorgeous terrace at the top. Walking distance in 3 mins to the beach, 10 mins to a brilliant supermarket and 7 mins to the laundrette. Some wonderful restaurants too. The guide Katherine sent was brilliant and Roberto was very helpful. The cockerel next door was a little annoying but that’s just life in Mexico and we definitely had worse elsewhere…he only did a few crows every morning. Overall, a really great place and I’d definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you Katherine

We had a fabulous time staying here. It is even more beautiful than the pictures and very spacious. We have stayed in PM many times and this was by far the nicest place we rented. It is 2 short blocks from the most beautiful beach. Katherine has the house well supplied with everything for a comfortable stay. We had an electrical issue (it was only late at night because the house also has solar power) due to the lines on the street, and Katherine had it fixed immediately, even on a holiday. The outdoor spaces, especially the huge roof deck are amazing. We did not cook at all but if you want to the kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The house is walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops in PM. Highly recommend this home and Katherine as host. I cannot wait to go back!

Our family enjoyed every minute of our time in Puerto Morelos. Katherine was proactive in her communication before and during our trip and the guidebook she sent was so helpful. She even helped me source options when we had issues with our rental car from the airport. Roberto met us onsite as promised and was flexible as our trip from the airport was delayed. He checked in with us during our stay and was responsive when we had questions. The house is well appointed, extremely clean, and there is so much space to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and meals up on the roof and couldn't have asked for a better location. There are restaurants within a block or two, a convenience store across the street, and we frequented the fruit market nearby. I appreciated that we were a few blocks removed from the busier part of town and preferred the quiet residential location while only a few minutes walk from the beach. The hardest part of our trip was leaving!

This home is just a couple blocks from the shore and very close to all the shops/restaurants. Lucio- the house manager was very friendly and attentive and gave us recommendations (he speaks mostly Spanish). Short walk to the supermarket. The area is pretty quiet, Puerto Morelos seems to avoid much of the hustle and bustle of nearby locations like Cancun or Playa del Carmen. Even on the weekend, we didn't hear much music or noise after 11pm (although I think June is the low season). There were 5 of us in our group, and we all had plenty of space. The upstairs bar/pool area was great!

We had a wonderful time at this house with my two adult daughters and their significant others. I love the decor of this home. It was so nice to go to the beach club (unico) and then return home to this lovely place. The pool was a nice bonus. We felt comfortable contacting the owner for any concerns. I love the location. Just steps away from a nice bar/restaurant… and being across the street from the convenience store was very “convenient” :-)… the owners of the SIX(convenience store) were sweet people. Definitely recommend staying here. It was fun to get to know some of the local people.

The house is beautiful, with wonderful amenities. The rooftop deck is amazing. Rooms are clean and comfortable. As a single woman staying there I felt very secure. The little Mercado across the street and the restaurant on the corner were a plus as was the close access to the beach and the town center. If I get the chance to visit the area again this will be my first choice.
